Los Angeles Lockdown Pushed to May 15

God mother fucking damn it. I was really focused on April 30th as a good stopping point when things would get reevaluated and Garcetti just pushed it to May 15th and we aren't even halfway through the month so things are NOT looking great.

On the other hand, I just did drive from Silverlake to Santa Monica and it took about 20 minutes, which is UNHEARD of in Los Angeles. Normally, even on a weekend, it would take around 35-50 minutes to get across the town, which means I experienced nothing short of a miracle. 

Furthermore, the air has never been cleaner and the views have never been clearer. I can see the Hollywood sign, the mountains, the ocean, and the beaches in their purest form and it's amazing to see. 

So ya the environment is spectacular, I can get anywhere I want at any given time with no work whatsoever, and yet I can't actually go anywhere other than just to walk around with a mask around my face. Upsides and downsides I suppose. 

In the meantime, let's all stay safe and healthy and get the fuck outside as soon as possible.
